Annual testing helps ensure consistent rules knowledge, mechanics, and officiating standards across Colorado. All officials are required to complete testing each year to maintain certification.
To be certified for the 2026 football season, every Colorado official must successfully pass the Mechanics Exam and one of the two Rules Exams listed below.
